shieldix.uk, the Shieldix plugin and Shieldix Cloud are provided by Nexys S.r.l., registered office Galleria Arrigo Protti 2, 34121 Trieste (TS), Italy, VAT number (Partita IVA) IT01447020320 (“Nexys”, “we”, “us”).

If you are a consumer in the EU or the EEA, you can withdraw from a contract for a plan or for AI credits within 14 days without giving any reason (articles 52 and following of the Codice del Consumo). The 14 days start on the day the contract is concluded.

If you expressly ask us to start the service during the 14 days, you keep the right of withdrawal, but you pay an amount in proportion to what was provided until you told us that you withdraw (article 57(3)). You lose the right of withdrawal only when the service has been fully provided, if it started with your express request and your acknowledgment that you lose the right once the contract is fully performed (article 59(1)(a)). Checkout asks for both before the service starts, with this box (version 2026-10-09-draft): “I ask you to start the service now, before the 14-day withdrawal period ends. I understand that if I withdraw, I pay for the service provided until then, and that I lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully provided.” The shop stores your consent with the time you gave it and this version. Businesses have no right of withdrawal.

You can use the model form below, but you do not have to. It is enough to send your statement before the period ends. Give the email address of your account and the site or the AI credits concerned.

We refund all payments received under the contract within 14 days of the day we receive your withdrawal, through PayPal, to the account or card the payment came from, at no cost to you, minus the proportional amount for a service you asked us to start: for a plan, the days until you withdrew; for AI credits, the credits already used. The refunded credits are removed from your account in proportion to the amount refunded.

Cancelling a plan stops its future payments. When a plan ends — because you cancel it, because PayPal suspends the subscription or because it expires — the site keeps the plan until the end of the period already paid and for 3 more days after it, and then returns to the free features: Shieldix AI and the shared list of attackers stop for that site, and the plugin keeps protecting it on its own.
